The Local Food Summit is a collection of individuals and organizations who share a common vision for the food system of Greater Washtenaw County, Michigan.
Our Vision
To support sustainable farms, local food businesses, and consumers of local foods
To establish strong infrastructure and affordable access to locally grown foods
To identify and bridge the gaps in our local food system and help the local food system thrive in our community
What we do
We meet throughout the year, and we plan one large event for the Washtenaw County community–the “Local Food Summit.” In 2020, our Local Food Summit is Monday March 9.
